Overview

PMY Group (PMY) is an independent technology strategy, investment and management company. 

It specialises in major venue and infrastructure projects and has high profile clients in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Macau, the United States of America, United Kingdom, Ireland and Cyprus. 

PMY is expanding its presence throughout Europe and is seeking an experienced, professional and dedicated commercial executive that can lead the Commercial Advisory, Commercial Operations and Strategic Partnerships portfolio within this growing region. 

The role will join the global management team of PMY and be pivotal to the further integration of consistent processes, values and culture in the European market. 

Responsibilities

The role comprises the following responsibilities: 

  • Accountability for delivery of the Commercial Advisory and Commercial Operations revenue target for the region 
  • Delivery of all Commercial Advisory engagements to the required professional standard 
  • Manage the commercial investment requirements and rights of PMY in the region 
  • Development strategic partnerships with global leading partners, vendors and agencies 
  • Develop and manage relevant channel partnerships to benefit PMY and our clients
  • Work closely with other members of the regional and global management team to ensure an integrated approach is taken to the delivery of projects and operations of the region 

Skills & Expertise Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Law, Arts or Engineering 
  • More than 10 years in experience in the sport and entertainment industry 
  • Business development expertise including experience across brands, venues and rights holders 
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing staff, resources and budgets in excess of a million pounds 
  • High level stakeholder management expertise, with strong commercial and technology network 
  • Consultancy expertise in developing, managing and delivering commercial strategies, and business cases involving technology across venues, infrastructure and/or sports clients 
  • High level written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in understanding operational and patron facing technology solutions and their role in major venues 
  • Proficiency in understanding operational and patron facing digital solutions and their role in major venues 
  • Project management experience 
  • Excellent leadership, people management, influencing and communication skills 
  • A flexible, strong work ethic and desire to improve and learn new skills
