KOJO joins PMY Group to revolutionise global sports and entertainment
.
PMY won the Best Event Technology Award for its crowd intelligence platform Optic at the 2026 Event Production Awards in the UK.
Optic, developed by PMY Group, was created by event experts, for the industry, to support operators of live environments.
The Optic platform anonymously measures crowd movement and behaviour using CCTV, ticketing, accreditation, point-of-sale and event management systems, along with LiDAR sensors deployed across sites, creating a richer operational view of guests and their experience.
In the UK, Optic was recently deployed at major events including Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, All Points East, and Superstruct’s Awakenings ADE Festival. It is also used at major events globally, such as the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, tennis tournaments, golf championships, airports, retail outlets and more.
Optic is built specifically for live events, not adapted from other sectors. Unlike traditional analytics platforms, it prioritises real-time operational use over post-event reporting.
Key differentiators include:
Optic turns data into action when it matters most.
The Event Production Awards recognised PMY for its ability to deliver measurable value across safety, experience, and commercial performance through Optic.
