PMY's collaboration with BMW for the MINI x Longleat activation showcased the integration of cutting-edge technology within an iconic setting, providing high speed Wi-Fi connectivity to enhance the car experience activation.
The PMY event technology team connected two remote locations within the Longleat estate, ensuring smooth communication and functionality across the extensive grounds. Key stakeholders included event organisers, attendees, and the vehicles themselves, which required reliable diagnostic uplinks
PMY liaised closely with the Longleat estate to provide an uplink to their in-house bandwidth, guaranteeing robust and high-speed internet connectivity at the activation sites. A backup low orbit satellite was also put in place. The PMY event network maintained uninterrupted communication during the event. The connectivity setup was also designed to support staff working remotely from their regular offices, ensuring they could continue their work seamlessly. PMY's additional connectivity provisions kept the operations running smoothly, demonstrating their capacity to adapt to various needs.
The activation allowed participants to take the MINI off-road for a day around the park, offering a unique and engaging driving experience. The high-definition Wi-Fi network was crucial for the event's success, supporting real-time diagnostic uplinks for the vehicles and ensuring they operated efficiently throughout the day. The network also facilitated communication between organisers and attendees, enhancing the overall experience.
