Renovating Washburn High School’s Auditorium

True North Consulting Group (A PMY Company) worked with Perkins & Will Architects and the Minneapolis Public School system to renovate and update the Washburn High School Auditorium.

True North Consulting Group provided the Audio/Video Design. The real challenge was to provide impactful seamless audio both into and under the balcony without having to make additional penetrations to accommodate “fill” speakers. True North specified steerable line arrays and designed custom, matching sub‑woofers and a mid-floor securable mix position desk.
