City of Katy, Texas – IT Security Assessments, Cyber-Resilience Program, and Governance Assistance
PMY developed a comprehensive assessment and planning process designed to enhance the security and resilience of the City of Katy’s Information Technology infrastructure.
The City of Katy (Texas) engaged PMY (formerly True North) to develop a comprehensive assessment and planning process designed to enhance the security and resilience of the client’s Information Technology infrastructure.
PMY assisted the City in validating the protection of confidentiality, privacy, integrity, and availability of critical data and systems. These activities were achieved through an assessment process that included the following phases:
- Focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Configuration Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, and Penetration Testing
- Physical Security Assessments
- Cyber Resiliency Planning
Key activities included IT Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, Configuration Reviews, Penetration Testing, and the development of comprehensive security policies and procedures. PMY also conducted physical security assessments on identified buildings and developed a Cyber Resilience Plan incorporating business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response plans.
