One Venue, One Technology Integrator, 60+ Skills, 60+ Countries

For an event like no other, PMY was engaged by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the biennial World Skills event, featuring more than 60 countries competing in over 60 skills and trades under one roof, the EUREXPO in Lyon, France.

PMY served as the Technology Integrator for WorldSkills Lyon 2024, ensuring that the Technology solution satisfied the specifications of the international governing body (World Skills International), the operational requirements of the LOC, and the significant demands of the technology infrastructure and equipment required to stage this unique event, featuring competitions spanning construction, ICT, manufacturing, engineering, creative arts, fashion, transportation, logistics and more.

PMY defined and delivered the Event Technology Master Plan (TMO) for the event, then leveraged its disciplined Event Technology Management tools and processes to procure, govern, manage and integrate multiple Technology Services and Service Providers to seamlessly deliver a unified technology solution across the planning, design, deployment, operations and decommission phases.    

PMY provided the Technology Program Manager, Venue Technology Managers, Solution Architects and Service Desk Agents for the event, which featured 1,500 competitors participating in judged and timed events across six days (10-15 September 2024).
