How PMY’s Event Technology Solutions Streamlined Sport Championships

PMY was selected as the Event Technology Integrator by the Local Organising Committees (LOC) of the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2022, FINA World Short Course Championships 2022, World Athletics X-Country Championships 2023, and the Woollongong 2022 UCI Road Cycling Championships. The appointment has encompassed comprehensive event technology planning, procurement, management, implementation, integration, and operations.

PMY’s responsibilities included defining and executing the Technology Master Plan (TMP), serving as the technology department of the various LOC’s.

PMY ensured ongoing program management and integration, utilising key project tools and processes outlined in the TMP to achieve a cohesive end-to-end technology solution across all Technology Service Providers. PMY also handled the procurement, onboarding, and ongoing management of Technology Service Providers necessary to deliver the required Technology Services for the events.

PMY maintained effective communication with internal functional areas and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of technology services required to operate each event.

The outcomes of PMY’s involvement included a streamlined and unified approach to event technology, thanks to the implementation of the Technology Master Plan. Through PMY’s procurement and management efforts, Technology Service Providers were effectively integrated and overseen to deliver the required services.

PMY’s coordination with internal and external stakeholders ensured the smooth execution of the Technology Service. PMY’s expertise as the Event Technology Integrator was critical to the successful hosting of these top-tier international sporting events.
