TOKYO 2020 OLYMPIC & PARALYMPIC GAMES

PMY played a vital role in supporting the Organising Committee for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games by providing advisory services and expertise in planning and managing IT-equipment and related services at Games venues.

PMY also supplied essential resources, including a Director of Technology Rehearsals (TRs), 11 Venue Information Technology Managers (VITMs), 2x Operations Managers, and 1 Games-time Technology Advisor.

PMY took charge of end-to-end planning, execution, and reporting for Technology Rehearsals (TR1 and TR2), conducting tabletops and simulations. Additionally, PMY created a comprehensive Technology Mobilisation Handbook that considered COVID countermeasures, immigration procedures, and on-venue operations.

Furthermore, PMY was responsible for training, onboarding, and operational management of the provided VITMs, smoothly integrating them into the Tokyo 2020 technology team, and collaborating with partners and stakeholders.
