POSITION OVERVIEW
At WJHW, Inc. we are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager (PM) to join our team. The Sr. PM will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, external architectural design teams, internal designers, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of low voltage systems design projects. This role requires effective communication skills, strong leadership, and experience in concurrently managing many projects, comprising of design professionals from 11 internal disciplines. The Sr. PM will oversee project execution while potentially contributing subject matter expertise (SME) in relevant design disciplines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client and Team Coordination: Interface with clients, external architect designers and engineers, and internal designers to ensure alignment and project success. Act as the point of contact for client-stakeholders and external design teams.
Project Management: Lead, organize, and manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Organize and motivate internal teams of subject matter experts (SMEs) for successful project delivery.
Design Expertise & Support:
Optionally serve as an SME within one or more design disciplines, contributing to the design process for projects under management.
Enforce the CSI architectural process, project delivery methods, specific structure, and related topics.
Programmatic Meetings: Facilitate and lead internal and external meetings to track project progress, address client requirements, and resolve any project issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically interface with both internal and external teams.
Organization & Time Management: Highly organized with demonstrated time management skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Leadership: Ability to motivate, manage, and organize internal SME teams and external collaborators.
Design Expertise: Knowledge or willingness to grow expertise in one or more of the WJHW design disciplines.
Documentation Skills: Experience with CSI-compliant design documentation, drawing organization, and specification development is a plus. Familiarity with RIBA-compliant documentation is also desirable.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and the 365 environment beneficial. Experience with Bluebeam (tools, markups, scaling, Studio sessions) a plus.
Construction & Design Process Experience: Knowledge of commercial construction and how Revit is used in the documentation process, including model population and object families, is a plus. Modest Revit skills are an asset but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Travel & Physical Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as project support requires. Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs, walk at least 2 miles daily, navigate multi-story buildings, climb ladders up to 25 feet, and perform other mobility tasks on project sites.
PMP certification (a plus, but not required).
