Essex Crossing, an award-winning mixed-use development in New York City's Lower East Side, comprises residential, commercial, and cultural spaces, including the Market Line, a vibrant marketplace running along three underground city blocks.
PMY played a pivotal role as the network technology partner for the Market Line, responsible for designing and configuring the wired and wireless network and providing three-year support to all vendors operating within the precinct.
The outcomes of PMY's involvement significantly impacted the People Experience and Technology aspects. All vendors were equipped with seamless connectivity, allowing them to function smoothly and maintain privacy and security. The designed system supports vendors' Point of Sales systems, ensuring PCI compliance and enabling secure connections for POS, cameras, printers, laptops, and other devices. PMY's WiFi system and secure networks cater to a wide variety of vendor technologies, ensuring accessibility now and in the future. They simplified network operations, facilitating ongoing data services for reviewing and monitoring solutions. This approach streamlines management and design, ensuring the Market Line's technology remains efficient and up-to-date.
