Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the impressive home stadium of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC, stands out as a versatile venue with its rare retractable roof and the world's largest halo board.
WJHW (a PMY Company) played a crucial role in the project, providing extensive design solutions for various systems. They designed sound systems for the seating bowl and auxiliary areas like concourses, restrooms, suites, lounges, press box, locker rooms, team areas, and administrative spaces.
WJHW also oversaw the implementation of distributed video and satellite systems, broadcast cable provisions, coaching video infrastructure, scoreboard and video display systems, and recommendations for acoustics, noise control, and vibration control. As a result of their contributions, Mercedes-Benz Stadium now offers cutting-edge integrations that enhance the overall fan experience. The carefully designed sound systems ensure excellent audio coverage, while the distributed video and satellite systems provide seamless visuals on strategically positioned TV monitors. The scoreboard and video display systems offer crisp visuals and efficient replay capabilities.
