PMY was engaged by the Welsh Rugby Union to refresh the technology environment of Principality Stadium.
This comprehensive upgrade includes improvements to the WiFi network infrastructure, audio-visual hardware, including IPTV, and an overhaul of the production studio. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, create an immersive fan experience, and increase commercial opportunities and partnerships.
PMY's role involved delivering a range of technology equipment and services. They upgraded the network infrastructure, including the core network and LAN, implemented structured cabling, and deployed Exterity audio-visual solutions. This included head-end equipment, IPTV systems, and a content management system. PMY also facilitated the upgrade of the production studio, refreshed production equipment, and provided services such as surveying, design, network engineering, and project management.
As a result, Principality Stadium now boasts a technologically advanced environment. The upgraded WiFi network ensures seamless connectivity, improving overall operational efficiency. The enhanced audio-visual hardware, including IPTV, enhances the fan experience, creating an engaging atmosphere. The upgraded production studio and equipment enable high-quality broadcasts and content production.
