Empowering Seamless Connectivity and Communication at Seawork 2023 with PMY's Cutting-Edge Solutions.
Seawork, the prominent commercial marine, and workboat exhibition in Europe, boasts over 250 exhibitors and draws a substantial industry audience. In 2023, Mercator Media, the organising entity behind Seawork, partnered with PMY for the fourth consecutive year to advance the event's onsite technological offerings. These services encompass Wi-Fi, onsite engineer support, network monitoring, high-speed fibre internet, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications.
PMY played a pivotal role in addressing key challenges. Given the critical reliance of numerous exhibitors on seamless internet connectivity, a priority was ensuring uninterrupted and high-speed access. Simultaneously, production teams needed a dependable VoIP system to sustain effective business communications and client interactions.
To tackle these challenges, PMY adopted strategic solutions. The Wi-Fi infrastructure underwent an upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 technology, resulting in quicker and more dependable wireless internet for attendees and exhibitors. Robust backup systems were implemented to ensure constant internet access even in the event of network disruptions. Furthermore, a resilient fibre ring network infrastructure was established, significantly boosting overall connectivity reliability.
To ensure swift issue resolution during the event, PMY had on-site engineers, readily available to troubleshoot any network or telephony concerns encountered by exhibitors and staff. This approach guaranteed minimal disruptions to their operations, strengthening the event's technological backbone, and promoting a seamless experience for all participants.
