Melbourne, Australia 12 July 2022. PMY Capital and Melbourne Royal are pleased to announce a major technology investment and management partnership at the Melbourne Showgrounds precinct. The initial seven-year partnership will see PMY Capital play a key role in accelerating Melbourne Royal’s strategy to become a leader in presenting premier events throughout the entire calendar year, in addition to the precinct’s signature event, the Melbourne Royal Show.
PMY Capital will design, fund, and manage a technology solution for Melbourne Showgrounds, as well as collectively commercialise the technology and digital solutions with Melbourne Royal.
The partnership comes at the ideal time, as the Melbourne Royal Show returns in 2022 after being unable to run in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. There is also an action-packed event and entertainment program for the remainder of the year and into 2023 for the Melbourne Showgrounds precinct.
