POSITION OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Lead to join our global IT team. In this role, the IT Lead will contribute to our modernization and automation initiatives, manage the Tier 1 Support team, and oversee internal system administration. Additionally, the IT Lead will be instrumental in developing comprehensive technical documentation and providing expert-level support for end-users. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of modern SaaS applications, cybersecurity principles, and the ability to manage and maintain technical documentation. This role requires proficiency in supporting both Mac and PC environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 administration. 

This role will be based out of Dallas, Texas, and will require travel to in-region offices in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Waco to provide support on an as needed basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead initiatives to modernize IT infrastructure and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system performance and user experience. 

  • Manage the Tier 1 Support team, ensuring the timely resolution of support tickets and continuous development of team members. Implement training programs, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to improve team performance.

  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of internal systems, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and support their technical needs. Assist in developing IT strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational success.

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive internal technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

  • Provide expert-level end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as needed. Serve as an escalation point for complex issues, ensuring their timely resolution.

  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with organizational policies and industry regulations. Implement security measures and conduct regular audits to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Identify opportunities for improvement in IT operations and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency. 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 

  • 3+ years of experience in IT management or a similar role. 

  • Experience managing both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, system administration, and technical support processes. 

  • Scripting experience in languages such as Python, Java, etc.

  • Experience with modern SaaS app management and implementation (e.g., Okta, Slack, Monday) is a plus.

  • Strong experience in domain migrations (M365 to Google Workspace). 

  • ERP/CRM management experience is a plus (e.g., Workday, Oracle, Dynamics 365). 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Sec+, CISM, CISSP) are a plus.

Location: The role will be based out of our Dallas, TX office, with required travel to in-region offices in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Waco to provide support on an as needed basis up to 10% of the time.
